I just wondered
whether anyone knew if the old church in Meole Brace was still there? my ancesters got married there in 1847 and tomorrow i'm off for a look...i know there is a trinity church but this was only built in 1860s so any help as to where it is/was would be such a help.

The Church is certainly there and a beautiful Victorian Church it is too, with a wonderfully created visitor centre (hall) connected to it by a covered passage.
I visited the Church two years ago because it was the home church of our then curate's wife.
