I am trying to determine if my GGrandad Joseph Gillman (1875-1934) was in Carrick-on-Suir for the 1901 census. He was married to Mary and would have had possibly 3 children at the time. If anyone has access to the 1901 census for Carrick I would appreciate any info. It is also sometimes spelt Gilman.

For what its worth;
GILMAN, WILLIAM. Rank: Private. Regiment or Service: Connaught Rangers. Unit; 1st Bn. Date of Death: 21-1-1916. Service No: 7518. Born in Clonmel. Enlisted in Clonmel while living in Clonmel. Killed in Action in Mesopotamia. He has no known grave but is listed on Panels 40 and 64 on the Basra Memorial in Iraq.

Thanks for that info. Could you tell me what age Ellen is, Joseph (and James his brother) had a sister called Ellen and this was also his mothers name.
