HI
Im not sure who you are, the reason I wanted to know is that my mum nd obviously my grandparents lived on the Heath from1933-83, also my g grandparents lived up there too , my nan had the cottage next tro what is now the riding school, (its a right state now its all boarded up) although someone lives there, my grandad as a teenager lived in the end council house on the Heath also, its just that my mum was chatting tothe lady who has the farm opposite and they are trying tofind out who had the farm earlier to them, my mum can only remember the Westgates and beofre them the Greens hda it. My filby family name is NICHOLS also GAZE and HUDSONS too,
As a child I can remember an oldlady Gran HUdson living next to my Nan, she lved to be about 103, her name was was Laura Hudson really, maiden name of Fuller, her grandaughter Majorie looked after her (nee Wymer)..
Look forward to hearing from you
Sandra (still in Filby) Pound Lane

Lauras son Percy married my grandads sister Margaret, are you from that lineage. or from Gertie I believe was her daughter, My Nan Rosie died 4 years ago aged 95, so she lived a long time,..You must know my mum Kathleen then Rosies daughter..
Please let me know your name or your mum/dads name so I can maybe ask mum if she knows you
