I am searching for the elliott,ellet, eliot,elyett  family from sixpenny handley in dorset
william elliott (born ? where ?)  but lived in sixpenny handley , dorset
william elliot died 1814 sixpenny handley
married to mary parsons on 19 May 1799 in sixpenny handley
they had  a son william : born 1801 & died 1877 sixpenny handley
Can anyone help?

Ann Elliott 31  Wife
George Elliott 23  Son Ag Lab
Thomas Elliott 19  Son Ag Lab
Betsey Pulman 10  Lodger

All family born Handley, Dorset - next door is a family of John Elliott, 45 and his wife Miriam, 40 with kids.

Could this be Mary Parsons ?

Christened 16 Jul 1786 Handley, Dorset
Father - Thomas Parsons
Mother - Mary

Children were sometimes baptised at an older age.

Thanks Laurina you are most helpful - i am new at this and cant believe how quick you responded! Wow!
I do have the 1851 & 1861 census already.
I dont think that is the mary parsons (1786), coz she was married in 1799 that would make her only 13 -a bit young.
but thanks anyway, i am sure i will find them eventually.
