Hi Judy,

Sorry, not related at all.

Just to say that a free search of the 1911 census index doesn't seem to support the theory that Muriel, Edith Norah, Ronald  and Ellen belonged to the couple you mention. Their parents seem to be Alfred and Kate, who were at RG13/632 128 48 in 1901.

In the Portsmouth district, there might be a William age 34 with wife Louisa age 32 and children Ellen age 7, Florence age 6, William age 4 and George age 10 months.

No, 'fraid not.  Offord is the maiden name of the mother, not a place.

Looking at the birth registrations, it is impossible for some of the children you have down as possibles for William & Louisa to be theirs - the births are registered too close together.  Florence cannot be a sibling to Edith & Muriel (who would appear to be twins) since her birth is registered in the previous quarter.

Have you confirmed the family groups in the 1901 census?

1a).   Frederick George H ADAMS, born March 1897 Fareham
The 1901 and 1911 censuses show that Frederick George Henry Adams was the son of a Frederick Adams born ca. 1867 Fareham and his wife Edith Emma.

I'm puzzled concerning Doris - William and Annie already have a very young daughter Doris Adams on 2nd April 1911 - so a Dec 1911 registration doesn't sound right  Undecided
