Hi Waterloo

Are you anywhere near Scottish records offices? The reason I ask is that the period you are looking at is too recent to view records on line at this stage.

The on line cut off for marriages on Scotlands People is currently 1933 and for births it is 1908. There is a possible birth for Annie showing in 1914, an Annie Jane Anson was born that year in Hoddom, Dumfrieshire.

Your alternative would be to order the marriage (and/or birth) directly from the GROS.

The only Anson marriage I am seeing on SP between 1890-1915 (assuming parents married and using the name for groom) was this one:

1908 - Thomas W ANSON and Jane TELFER in DRYFESDALE, DUMFRIES

You have to work back though verifying your info as you go. You really need to start from the marriage to verify Annie's parents' names which then gives you the information to work back.

Was Annie's death in 1995 in Dumfrieshire? The birth year for this entry is 1914 so that birth we have in 1914 would certainly fit.

No, don't post the address here  Smiley RC is careful in what we can post about people who may still be living. I know Annie has died, but still all quite recent.

If you are popping into Dumfries, have a look at this post www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,369601.0.html I wonder if you could pop into a local registrar there to try and access this information from more recent certificates.
