My gggg grandmother was Susannah Hyett, formerly Susannah Ladle. Using FamilySearch and the IGI Batch Number records I've found a Susannah Ladle baptised in Norwich St Peter Mountergate, Norfolk, on 23 Mar 1772.

Susannah Hyett I found on Ancestry died 22 Dec 1851 in Huntley, Gloucestershire.

Looking through the IGI records I may have found Susannah Ladle's parents and family. There is a marriage on 25 Feb 1770 recorded in Norwich St Peter Mountergate, Norfolk between a William Ladell and a Susanna Read. There is also a mention of a son Richard Laddle, baptised in Norwich St Peter Mountergate, Norfolk, on 29 Dec 1770.

The dates tie in with Susannah Ladle but I'm wondering if that is enough to say they are a part of her family. I'm wondering if there are any members with a Norfolk Ladle/Ladell family tree who have a connection with any Hyett's? Or perhaps there are any members with Hyett family trees who have confirmed this connection?

Hi.  I've been reading your post with interest as I've been researching all Ladell's for some years.  At the moment my database yields no connection to Hyett BUT I do have the family you are interested in. Would be kind enough to clarify the exact details of the baptism and marriage entries you are quoting, as I have a different parish.  Also do you have any idea what James Hyett was doing in Norfolk at the time of his marriage, or his occupation later in life.
Could you also provide a full transcription of the 1851 census entry for James & Susannah Hyett for me to investigate.   I look forwad to hearing from you hopefully to our mutual satisfaction.
