Most transcriptions stop at 1837 when civil registration began.

Unless you can get to The Centre for Kentish Studies you may have to get the marriage certificate.

This full reference will get you Marriage Cert from GRO for £7.00.

       From Smarden registers:-
             20/07/1857 married by Banns
             William Collason 34 widower  labourer of Smarden (X his mark)
married Sarah Spillet 33 spinster of Smarden (X her mark)
Fathers:- John Collason, labourer & John Spillet, labourer
Witnesses:- Mary Goodwin or Fordwin & Edward Goodwin or Fordwin (surname unclear).
Hope this is what you want.
