Looking for Sarah Ann NUNN
« on: Thursday 28 May 09 20:05 UTC (UK) »

Hi!

I am hoping that someone will be able to help me track down the maiden name of my great, great, grandmother Sarah Ann. She was born in Lidgate, Suffolk in c1828.

Her first marriage was to Huh?? Nunn by which she had 2 children - Susannah, born c1851 & George, born c1852.

Sarah married Joseph Coppin during the March quarter of 1855 and settled in Wickhambrook where she went on to have a further 10 children!

The 1861 census states that Susannah and George are children of her first marriage but I can't find who this marriage was to or her maiden name. I have checked IGI, but without the name of her first husband, I can't seem to trace either of the two children.

There are many records for a Susannah Nunn but they give her as a daughter and not daughter-in-law.

Can anyone help please?
