She later claims a birthplace of Woolwich,Kent and a father "John Deall, A "Gentleman" in 1856"
Signed her name on Marriage cert..

The 1851 has an Ann Deall aged 22 b Dover working as a servant for Thomas & Ann Birch in Dover
HO107 Piece 1632 Folio 563 Page 5

Can't see her on the 1841 at the moment

                 Theres an Ann Dale ,Bn 1829 but Father is Henry on 1841 at Canterbury.
   Ancestry Source  :-    HO 107 Piece 486 Bk 11 Folio 6 Page 6
                Cant see any nearer Matches.

She only married an in-law anyhow, but I though I'd give it a whirl since the spouse is on Genes...

Have you tried IGI as I have some Deals (not yours I checked )that come from the Dover area and I found a couple of possible matches using this site. I've yet to make any positive identification as I haven't researched them in depth but they are on my to do list. I remember that quite a few individuals came up with the surname.
Give it a go what have you got to loose! Huh
