Could someone do a look up for me.  I am trying to establish whether William Humphreys who married Ann in 1845 in, Aylesbury, and who fathered Mary Ann 1840, William J 1849, John 1850 and Elizabeth 1855 are the family that I am actually looking for.  If this is the right family, they emigrated to Australia in 1857.

My dilemma is that the only real information I have is that William Joseph (junior) was born in High Wycombe, father William, a wheelwright, from Bucks, mother unknown,  resided in NSW, Australia for 85 years prior to his death  28 Aug 1933.  This was on the death certificate.


Please help.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking?  Huh

Do you want an 1851 census lookup for Wm. and Ann HUMPHREYs  ?   It would show the first three children only.

What info are you seeking that will establish that this is the right family ?

Hi Charlotte,

I just need someone to give me some idea on how to find the right parents for My William Joseph Humphreys.  I am seeking his birth parents but am not sure how to proceed. 

I think I've been searching for his family for so long now that my mind just won't let me go any further.  As I stated earlier, the only info I have is from his death certificate, which as everyone knows is not always accurate.  I have searched high and low with nothing concrete to go by.
