Missing Houses
« on: Friday 29 May 09 19:47 BST (UK) »

I have waited patiently for the updated 1911 cenus for Antrim I am still unable to find the missing houses in Crimea St Shankill. The census shows the highest No as 110 but the house were numbered up to 286. They were definately built and not demolished .Any ideas ?

hi ya,
i don't think they have updated Antrim or Down yet because the errors i reported to them are still there; Down anyway. the website says that some material is still missing and corrections made by the general public still have to be made but they will be "ongoing".have you noticed any changes ards g?

well that shows at least they are updating things fred and they'll get round to the rest,we live in hope anyway! if it doesn't appear then try a letter to the national archives of ireland, they would probably ignore an e-mail,and see what they have to say.it would drive me nuts if i'm in the same situation as you when armagh comes online, touching wood here!,so i hope it sorts itself out for you.
