George Wilson Warrington Northampton
« on: Saturday 30 May 09 16:28 BST (UK) »

Hello
I am trying to find birth/baptism details for a George Wilson c1817-19
Warrington Northants
He was married 6th Nov 1842 in Glenfield, Leics. to a Sarah Foster
He was shown as a blacksmith, his father George Wilson was also a Blacksmith

However, I cannot find either in the 1841 Census.
The son George Wilson in 1851 census is shown age 32 = born c1818.
His birth place is shown as Warrington, Northants.

But I thought Warrington was in Buckinghamshire at that time
and Warrington was not a parish in its own right, but part of Olney.

Cannot find any Wilsons in the Olney census for 1841

Any one have any suggestions where elseI might look

Thanks

I think it might be Nassington on  the 1861 census

Yes that's a possibility which I'll have a look at, but on the original
census to looks more like a word starting with W, compared to how the
enumerator wrote other place names.
eg.  4 lines above is the word Nottingham
3  lines below are the words Wooden Box (old name for Woodville)
but thanks for the comment/suggestion
