If it was in Deptford then it would be near the Wear Bottle Works. You will not find it marked on a modern map, as the whole area has been changed out of all recognition to what it was in the 19th Century. If you go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and in 'search' enter the coordinates 438250, 557730 it will centre the map on the location, where it was. You will have to go to the 1856-1865 map to see the Bottle Works. Only the main roads are named.

Bottle House Bank ran north from Ropery Road to the riverside. If you look at the 1951-1959 map you will see a PH marked. This was the 'Shoulder of Mutton' which was at the south end of Bottle House Bank.
