My answers only refer to England and Wales

It could be Stranton. There are only eleven miles between Stranton and Dalton-le-Dale.

Who is Norman Carne & why do we have his photo?
|
Hi, according to a transcript of Stranton PRs there is a gap in the records between 10 June 1777 and 06 July 1778. This is very frustrating as I am trying to find a Lettice or Alice Brown who is possibly the daughter of William Brown and Ann Mordecai.

Hi Emma, I've started another thread about Alice/Lettice but if I can settle that query then there's a good chance that the families are linked.
