Hi,

I'm looking to trace a great, great, great grandmother of mine (and any of her ancestors).  She was Marion (or Maria) Watson (20/5/1791-11/8/1847).  She married John Goodhand Parker on 10/6/1818.

They had five children, including my Great, great grandfather Henry Watson Parker (later Sir) and preseident of the incorporated law Society.

John Goodhand Parker's father was John Cowham Parker (mayor of Hull twice and wine merchant).

However, I know nothing of Maria's origins.

Hullo Emma and welcome to rootschat.

You have Maria's exact birth and death dates- did these come from her headstone? or from elsewhere?
Have you tried looking for her baptism on say IGI? as you know her birthdate that gives you a pointer here.
Do you know where Marion and John were married?   That may tell you the district where she lived.
I'm just casting around for ideas...
