Are you saying you live in Australia, which side do the Whittakers come from your mam's or dad's when i discover how to attach files i'll send you Louisa's census
form from 1871 she was born in Appleton Wiske which is near Northallerton North Yorkshire.Louisa's Grandfather William was the Publican of The Exchange Hotel on Commercial St in the St Hilda's part of Middlesbrough around the time that Middlesbrough was starting out.You say you left England in 1969,where did you live? have you any family still living in england.If you post one more message i can send you my e-mail address if you want me to.
