Hello ,
I am trying to find where Emily and Arthur Davey went after 1901 census which shows them living in Fortesque St Exeter . Emily was born { Prout } 1869 Brampford Speke and Arthur 1876 Burrington . On 1901 census they have 2 children , Lily born Exeter 1899 and Leslie born Exeter 1900. I can't seem to find them on 1911 census or anywhere else . Any ideas please ?

Alan, when you are absolutely sure they are not in 1911 census , then maybe the answer is they emigrated to Aus,NZ, Canada, USA...
I had a whole family like that- parents +8 kids- in one census and not the next. I found them in the end in USA...

Hello Charlotte,
I think I did search passenger lists but will check again . I have a photo of them on a card Emily , Arthur and 5 children , and the back says Curzon Studios , Kilburn, but no date . This card was sent to her sister in Canada , but unsure what date , the older children in photo possibly 13/14 ?

Alan, If you scanned the card and posted it on the Photo Board and asked for dating, that may give you soem futher info. The name of the photographic studio could also give you a timeframe.
Every bit of info helps
