Hello,
 I am researching a Fife Marriage/Census record in the 1830's- 1840s  of a Fife resident John Black, son of a John Black born 1811 in the Guernsey, Channel Islands area to John / Ann Black.
 The relative, John Black of mine married an Ann, and there were 3 children born in Scotland: James, Nancy, and George. Jane was born Castle Eden, Durham 1852.       Other children were later born in Durham, UK and baptized Catholic in Thornley, Durham. They were Robert John, Mary, and David Black

HI,What date was the first child born in fife? would give us a likely date for marriage.

quick look on SP gives:

John Black = Ann wilson 2/12/1839 Wemyss, Fife

Do you know where fife children were born?

There is a tree on A* giving johns wife as Ann Wallace, no marriage date. all the children are right and his parents are given as:
John Black & Ann Perrin.
