Ann Lynch
« on: Monday 01 June 09 15:17 UTC (UK) »

Looking for an Ann Lynch,ms, Rooney b. Fermamagh, Ireland. She was married to James Lynch who died in 1871

I have her on the 1871 census living with son William. Tried 1881 and 1891 with no results

William died 1879 and it was his sister Mary Wren who reg. the death.

I found Mary Wren and husband John on the 1881 census, with family. Thought perhaps that Ann was living with her daughter but no sign of her there either.

Would appreciate any information about Ann.

Mary

Should have said this all was in Edinburgh, in and around the Cowgate.

Hi Mary

Ann Lynch died in 1885 in Edinburgh. Son in law John Wren reported her death with age at death a bit light at 51  Roll Eyes

Parents Philip Rooney and Ann Martin, both deceased.

HiMonica.

Thanks for the info. I replied yesterday evening but don`t know what happened to it, has disappeared into the wild blue yonder..I,ll be able to use this information in my search for James and Ann Lynch on the Fermanangh board.

I guess with the son-in.law using the wrong age is the reason I couldn`t find her. Had too narrow a search.

Cheers,

Mary
