I think some batches have been added to the IGI Chas which are not on Hugh Wallis. Another one was pointed out to me a while ago. It does pay to shop around.

I think I read somewhere on here that the Hugh Wallis site hasn't been updated since 2002.
I always play around with the numbers and the initials just in case I find another batch. Anything's worth a try!

Hi Chas, Kerry and Christine
I wonder if there is enough interest to start a collection of new discovered batch numbers for Sussex like the one that casalguidi has on the Kent board.

And I will start trying desperately to remember the batch that I found that wasn't there.
Excellent idea though.

Will add any addittions / alterations as and when I post the original list.

Here's some I've just come across while trying to arrange the baptisms for Brighton St Nicholas into date order, as below. The ones in red are not on Hugh Wallis' site
P012781 (1558-1701) C017282 (1701-1731) C017283 (1731-1791) C017284 (1791-1812) C017285 (1813-1813) C009234 (1814-1816) C017286 (1816-1819) C147947 (1820-1824) C008861 (1822-1824) C018397 (1824-1827) C017287 (1827-1832) C147948 (1832-1835) C017288 (1835-1845) C017289 (1845-1850) I013549 (1850-1852) C147931 (1852-1861) C135466 (1852-1853) C135468 (1854-1855) C135469 (1855-1856) C135471 (1855-1856) C135472 (1856-1857) C135473 (1857-1858) C135475 (1859-1860) C135476 (1860-1861) C135389 (1861-1862) C135391 (1862-1863) C135392 (1863-1864) C135393 (1864) C135394 (1864-1865) C135395 (1865-1866) C135396 (1866-1867) C135397 (1867) C135398 (1868) C135399 (1868-1869) C135467 (1869-1870) C135493 (1871-1874) C135494 (1875-1877) C135495 (1878-1881)
This is all I can find. Any gaps in years are covered by other batches on this list, so this is Brighton St Nicholas' baptisms in order from 1558 to 1881 according to IGI.
I'm working on Marriages at the moment and I'll post these when I've done more work on it
This may be of use to someone
Glen

So far, here are the marriages for St Nicholas'
E017281 (1560-1660) M017281 (1559-1730) M017283 (1731-1761) M017284 (1755-1797) M147946 (1797-1813) M147933 (1813-1816) M147935 (1828-1838) M147936 (1838-1840) M147937 (1840-1845) M147938 (1845-1849) M147939 (1855-1859) M147942 (1862-1865) M147943 (1865-1868) M147944 (1868-1872) M147945 (1872-1881)
(The microfilms in the Brighton History Centre only go up to 1881, so once the missing batches are found, that's St Nick's just about done according to IGI. Then I'll need to have a look at St Pete's)
