 :)Hi all
does any know of beckworths of whitwick leicester 1930
I have a black &white picture of it out of a calender
from whitwick historical soc
it has my aunt olive sear when she married horis but before she married she was a page it also has tom sear and doris sear who i know nothing about not even who their parents was can any be of help please

I just thought i would let you know i have met the relation of the people who owned the water company in whitwick at coalville libary this week and she as passed the information on to me of the family who owned it

Doris Evelyn SEAR Dec 1901 Ashby Z. 7a 114
I see Horace was born 1904 so maybe she's his sister, you didn't say how old they looked in the photo. Maybe they are brother and sister, or maybe cousins, you'd need to check the births and census to find that out.
Have you thought of looking in the 1911 census? The index is free to search, and you may be able to find the family all together, which would perhaps sort things out for you - I had a quick look in the index, there is a Doris b.1902 living with a Thomas born 1910, both living in Ashby de la Zouch, but Horace is not living with them, you need to buy some credits to see who their parents were.
