Hi Suzanne

Not sure if you've seen this but there is a baptism 30 April 1815, St Mary Magdalene, Launceston.

John Lawrence. parents: James Lawrence and Ann

(Cornwall parish record collection)

This fits with your info that he was b. St Mary Magdalene:

Hi

No I hadn't seen that. I was planning at some point in taking a trip to Launceston library to look at their microfiche (I live in the Tavistock area) but I have two small children.

Are there anymore children listed for James & Ann?

Many thanks

It's a bit tricky to find other children becausse of the way it's organised. I'll see if I can find a marriage that might narrow down the dates.

The best fit is a marriage in St Stephen by Launceston, 3 April 1804: James Lawrance and Ann Peardon.

Hi Gadjet

Just found baptism records on 'FreeReg'. Many thank again. The earliest child so far is Robert b1812. I'll keep looking.

Regards Suzanne
