Could someone  please give me a date of death / GRO no for Ellen Walsh died mid 1950's. (Born 1868.)
Resident Handsworth.
According to the Electoral Roll she was registered to vote in 1954 but not in 1956  onwards . There appears to be no return for 1955. I think this narrows it down to between October 1953 and October 1955 although I am willing to be corrected.

There is an Ellen Walsh death aged 87 registered Birmingham July1954.GRO v9c p29
