It was down for maintenance and a hardware upgrade...it's back up now.
edit - not sure it's working 100% yet... the search gives results, but the index details dont appear for me..

I used the original link we had : http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=2;t=searchable;c=1408347
and for example select Wicklow, Ireland as the place, and 1864 to 1890 as the timeframe
select the collection filter option at the top of the screen , and tick 140837 - you filter on the Irish records - but the index details are still missing.
all you can see at the moment is name, year , district and county
you get the same results if you go to the home page at http://www.familysearch.org - and select the 'see prototype for searching millions of records' link

Just been on to the site and while I can get records none of these are showing the references for volume or page nor in some cases for year. It seems that the LDS has withdrawn these. I suspect there may be some difficulty with the General Register Offices in Dublin and Belfast.
It was a wonderful resource!!

I suspect that in moving the data to the upgraded hardware some database table index or data has been mislaid, or corrupted - they have huge amount of data and it's very easy to miss some small function with a hard coded server name that is now incorrect - i.e. pointing to the old servers..which presumably have been 'retired'
edit (17:34) : the index details are now displaying correctly for me..
