CANNON marriage - Tuam

Could any of you seasoned researchers help me? I am looking for a marriage between JOHN CANNON (b 1807) and ELLEN HANLY (b. 1814).  It would be between 1830 – 1838 somewhere in or around Tuam and I believe they were Roman Catholics.

They had 3 children in Ireland
JOHN (b. 1838)
PATRICK (b. 1841)
BRIDGET (b. 1843)

but then left Ireland sometime between 1843 – 1849, travelling with John’s brother THOMAS CANNON.

Once settled in the UK they had three more children:
MARY (b. 1849)
JAMES (b. 1850)
EDWARD (b. 1857)
(In case the use of the less usual name Edward may help with identifying the family)

I’m pinning my hopes on Tuam because when I looked at the other Irish immigrant families living close to my Cannon ancestors they were all from Galway / Roscommon / Mayo counties, so I researched all the Cannons living in the area around those three borders.
I’d discovered that John & Ellen’s neighbours in Staffordshire were John & Bridget Galbraith who were also from Ireland and amazingly I found in the Griffiths Valuation a John Cannon occupying land in Tuam parish which he sub-lets from J Galbraith!

If anyone is able to confirm these marriage details I would be so grateful – if this hunch proves right then so many other pieces of my family tree will fall into place!

OOPS!  I forgot to mention that Ellen's surname Hanly is only a 'maybe' here.

I didn't have a maiden name for Ellen, but based this on the discovery that John Cannon also sub-let one of his plots (just a cottage and yard) to a Patrick Hanly. 
Their 2nd son is named Patrick and following the naming convention that would be Ellen's father's name. . . . .

I know that's stretching it a bit, but you never know!  Undecided

Co. Galway parish records are available on the Irish Family History Foundation website at www.irish-roots.ie  - it's a pay-site and the transcripts cost €5

there's no way on the system to cross-reference bride and groom records - other than by buying a transcript
