Burials in Formby

Hi all

This may seem a stupid question. 
I would like to try and find out where some of my relations were buried.  They lived in Formby and I will be travelling from Warwickshire to Southport next week and wondered if anyone could tell me where to start looking.

Do I have to find a record first or would there be particular churchyards or cemeteries?

I know it's a longshot but thought I would get some advice first.

Hi,

For Burial Grounds in the area take a look at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Formby/  and scroll down to church records and cemeteries.

I would also suggest searching on www.lan-opc.org.uk for burials.  It really depends on the time frame and what religion they were. 

It is no easy task finding graves even when you know where they are buried.
