Ferrars Hospital Kingston Upon Hull

Can anyone tell me anything about Ferrars Hospital in the Holy Trinity parish of Kingston upon Hull?

My husband's ancestor was living there in 1851 and I think in 1841 as well.

On the 1851 census her occupation is described as 'almspeople seaman' and I believe her husband was a mariner.

The "Ferrers Hospital" was situated on Junction Dock Street in Hull..

Hi  My gt x3 grandfather William McCrie (a mariner) died there in 1853 and his wife Sarah was an "almswoman (nurse)" there in 1861 then moved to Carr Lane  Mariners House in 1871. There is quite an interesting  article and picture about it in A History of Kingston upon Hull Bulmer's Gazetteer 1892. I would love to know more about the nursing aspect of it being in the profession myself. Can anybody help please?
