Hi
I have an entry in a family bible for the confirmation of Thomas Ralph Burrows. I cannot quite decipher it.
Born 3 May 1899 Kimberley
Confirmation S. Sevyes Nottingham Dec 12 1913 or 1918
I need to know the name of the church and the year.

In 1901 we have :-

Frank Burrows, head, 28, Chemist/Druggist Manager, born Ilkeston
Elizabeth Burrows, wife, 29, born Scotland
Thomas R. Burrows, son, 1, born Kimberley, Notts
Can't help with the confirmation venue at present

Hi Jane,
This is a long shot; but I'm wondering if it might say St. Georges (looking at the 'g' in Nottingham).
From what I have found there was a St. George's in the Meadows, and one in Netherfield - may be others that I haven't found.
Anyway, just a thought - good luck.
