MARRIAGE LOOK UP PLEASE

Hi!

Is any one going to the records office which holds the marriage records for Birkenhead?

I'm after a marriage look up for Duncan  McLeod and Imogene McLeod.

They married 1st quarter 1917 vol:8a page 803.

I'm after the details of Duncans parents to see if he is my long lost ancestor.

Hi

This marriage cannot be looked up at the records office as no church is shown

Cheshire Marriage indexes for the years: 1917
 
MCLEOD Duncan MCLEOD Imogene Birkenhead, Civil Marriage Registers at Wirral Ref BW/98/80

If you know the name of Duncans father you could try ringing the Registry office and asking if the entry shows his father as >>>>>>>

Alternatively - you could apply for a copy of the certificate to the Registry office making his fathers name a condition of your application.  If it's the wrong Duncan - they will not charge you

www.cheshirebmd.org.uk  turn up the entry then click on the ref number BW/98/80   On the next page - again click on the ref number and you will then be presented with a ready prepared application form which you can print off
