Thomas Scarff c1842

I'm looking for a Thomas Scarff born c1842 and died 1877. I know he married in 1873 and they had one child, but i don't know anything before he married.

According to the marriage certificate his father is Alexander Scarff, but i can't find any record on FreeBMD of any death for such a person.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If you are still looking for information on Thomas SCARFF could you elaborate a bit on what you do know ie. when/where/whom did he marry/occupation and that of his father (from the marriage)/marriage witnesses/what is your source for suggesting that he died in 1877/name & details of known child(ren)?
