She was born January 25,1882, this is from the official birth certificate.but she probably said England with her spending most of her young life there, certainly from around three or four years old, according to electoral rolls for her Mother and Father in Liverpool. From a still excited Tsumi

Goodness, it's been a busy hour or so since I've been offline
To clarify one point:'Blenheim' is the bride's residence in Ontario (groom also residing at Blenheim) and 'Wales' is her birthplace.
Found them in 1911 census- Blenheim Township, Princeton Village, Oxford North, Ontario (Baptist): David Mc Lelland, born June 1880 Ontario, mason wife Minnie Mc Lelland, born Jan.1882 England, to Canada 1902 son Robert J. Mc Lelland, born Sept.1910 Ontario

Lisa- just about to post the headstone links but you've beaten me to it. Looks like there's no doubt as headstone gives her name as Amelia Palmer!

aghadowey,
I echo Lisa,s thanks ,I can,t believe so much has been found from what I thought was insurmountable this morning. I thank you so much for starting us off,and all we have been able to find since then ,I say we but it really is you and Lisa. Just one more piece to go with the missing child ,and all the bricks are down.
Thank you both so very very much .

Good thing you reminded me, Lisa- found William Stevenson (Amelia's son) in 1911 census with grandmother Susan but didn't want to post it until I knew we'd found Amelia.
1911 Census- Woodstock, Oxford North, Ontario (www.automatedgenealogy.com) William Elstone, wife Susan Elstone, stepson James Stevenson, stepdau. Ethel B. Stevenson, grandson William R. Stevenson.

I wanted to let everyone know that I moved this thread from the US board, as the folks involved wound up being in Canada. Just so there's no confusion as to why a long thread suddenly popped up here.
