Can anyone check to see if there is a marriage cert in Mo or maybe IA for
a Frank Jackson and Tidy Jane  Simon. The years  may be  between 1891 and
1896. I cant't be more specfic as I just do't know. Tidy was married in 1891
in Mo ( Springfield, Greene Co, to a Mat Culey)   She must have divorced, or that Mat died. Whichever I can't find that Mat Culey?Huh And she married my
g-g grandpa and they are on a census in Polk Co, Iowa. To find  Frank he is under Harlow T, on the 1900 census  however I think it said Harlon F. I am trying to
find another way to try to find my Frank Jacksons Parents or history. Born Canada it says on census but?Huh? Also his death cert has date of birth as May 8, 1855.
But that may not be accurate. I don't know who he was before he married Tidy.
None of my relatives know. I thought maybe he and this Mat Culey were the one
and same but I can't find a Mat Culey.  From word of mouth this Mat Cully was
a fighter like a boxer or something. Frank was in IA, Mo, OK, and died going
through TX in 1936(in a wagon) I was told.

I found a marriage license for Frank Jackson and Tidy Simon.  They were both of Jackson Co., Missouri.  It is filled in that Frank is over age 21 and Tidy is over age 18.  The license was dated 13 May 1891.  They were married on the same day by Stephen G. Ripple, a Minister of the Gospel.  The address (not sure if it was the location of marriage or Minister Ripple's address) was given as 1311 Illinois St., Kansas City, Missouri.  No parents' names were given.

On the 1910 Census, it seems to say that Frank & Tidy were each only married once.  Where did you get the information about Mat Culey?

I have a marriage certificate for Mat Culey of Springfield, Mo and Tdy Jane Simon,
dated Feb 18 Feb, 1891(Justice of the Peace) Filed March 2nd 1891. So, Tidy must
have divorced Mat Culey, or he died, or maybe he was in jail.  Feb-May is  3 months,
so wondered what happened. It was thought that Tidy's first 2 kids were Mat Culeys
however they were  born between 1893- 1895. Where is Jackson co?  In 1910
Frank and Tidy were in Jasper co, Mo. Frank was a horsetrader.  Thanks  R.J.
