US census1850-80, nonpopulation schedules
« on: Friday 07 August 09 01:58 UTC (UK) »

Ancestry has put out nonpopulation shedules for the 1850 to 1880 US censuses but, unfortunately, just for South Carolina.  Any idea when they might give us this information for other states?

Great stuff if you happen to have ancestors in SC.

The agriculture schedule has farm details by name of farmer, including area and value of each crop and livestock, investments in fencing, fertilizer, labor, etc.

The manufacturing schedule has similar information for owners of industrial and manufacturing businesses.

The social statistics schedule has individual information on the deaf, dumb, blind, insane, etc.
