Ephraim & Isaac Fullwood
« on: Tuesday 10 November 09 16:22 UTC (UK) »

I'm trying to find Ephraim Fullwood b abt. 1832 in leicsetershire.
He died in Chesterfield in 1881.
I think he married Lydia Allen in Crich on Aug. 23 1846, then Phebe Hicks on March 24 1867 in Chesterfield, both according to IGI.
I have him on the 1861 census, with his parents, Isaac and Ann, and his children, presumably from his marriage to Lydia, and 1871 census, with Phebe and children, but cannot find him before that.
Also his father Isaac b abt. 1808 in Eastwood, Nottingham.
I have him on the 1861, and 1851 census, but cannot find him on the 1841.
Did Isaac remarry before 1871, his wife is Elizabeth, now, and his grandson is now his son, unless I have the wrong Isaac, but both lived in Sheepbridge.
I am going around in circles with these two, any help is much appreciated, thank you. cg.

Hi

I don't know if you already have this baptism

Isaac Fulwood bapt 9.8. 1806 to Isaac & Mary at Eastwood.

There was an earlier Isaac baptised to Isaac & Mary 21.9.1804 but he died and was buried 22.8. 1805.

Hi Carol,
Thank you for finding more about the Fullwoods, that's great.
I just looked up where Eastwood is, not too far away from me, so I could visit one day to see if I can find them.
It's really strange that a lot of the people I am researching, and on different sides of the family, came from around the same area.
I was having a very frustrating day, trying to update my tree on ancestry.
I don't know what I did, but I've spent hours, and all the information has ended up in different places, I could scream. Still I will have a break and digest your information.
Thanks again,
Anne.
