Looking for any information on a Edward J. Delaney, born ca. 1881, 1891/1901 census any info.
In 1911 hotel keeper Nth Stainforth,Ripon and married.

1891 census for Ireland no longer exists and 1901 will eventually be added to National Archives website after they finish adding all 1911 census for Ireland.

could that be Gormanstown  ?

there's a Gormanstown in counties Kildare and Meath

there are a couple of Delaney births for Co. Kildare on the Familysearch index around 1881 - but no exact match that I see for Edward

Thank you both for your information.

According to his marriage cert. his father was John Delaney (dec.) a farmer and one of the witnesses was a J.Delaney.
