James Family - Ashford Kent

I am interested in finding out any information I can about some distant cousins of mine .

My Grandmother's Uncle was called Thomas Pearce James, & in 1901, resided with his wife & family at 10, Queen's Road, Ashford, Kent. He & his wife were from Cornwall.

They had at least 4 children - Reginald Pearce James (b 1891, Islington) , Richard Alexander James (Alex) b 1894 Ashford, Leslie Pearce James (b 1898 Ashford) & frank Chellew James (b 1899 Ashford)

I would be interested to hear from anyone who can tell me anything further about this family ...or indeed if anyone can e mail me a photograph of 10, Queens Road, Ashford (as I'm down in Cornwall!).

I wonder if there is any way of finding out where his drapers shop was in Ashford. Any ideas greatly appreciated! James

I have photographs of James & Kither 104 High Street Ashford dating from about 1897 to 1977. This was my Grand Fathers Drapers shop.
