Look up 1881 Scottish Census request

Looking for help to find two members of same family:

James Mclurg age 57 and wife Agnes 58
probably with no family at home and around Holytown area

also his son

James Mclurg age 29 and wife Margaret 30
with children James 9 and agnes 6
living in Holytown, Cleland, Newarthill or Motherwell.

Address: 119 Windmillhill St, Dalziel


James McLurg 56, coal miner, b. C Down, Ireland
Agnes McLurg 58, b. C Down, Ireland

Address:Main Street, Holytown

Hi Audrey,

I had a look at SP for you and it appears your little Margaret McLurg died in 1881 (must have been after April) in Dalziel.  You can get the certificate from SP if you have credits and want to have a look - or you can get a free 10 credits via the link in this thread:
