Hello
What do you think about this one ? ....
1901
Islington RG13/187 Folio 137 Page 3
Harry Tew Head M 35 Electric Light Labourer Lere Leicester Emma do Wife M 37 Laundry ? Hand Shoreditch
125 Shepperton Road, Islington
In the last quarter of 1893 Harry Tew married Emma Nagle at Shoreditch. The GRO reference is 1c 206. www.freebmd.org.uk/
I have not found a Harry Tew born c1865 on the 1881 and 1871 censuses from Leicestershire so this could possibly be your Henry as shown in those years.

The Henry Tew who was born in Swinford in 1858 and who probably married Elizabeth Bailey can be seen on the 1881 census with his parents, Samuel and Mary, on http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp.
He is clearly a different person from the Henry who is the son of George and Elizabeth, who can also be seen in 1881, on the same site.
The birth indexes for Lutterworth from 1855 to 1871 show only two registrations for children called Henry Tew - the one in 1858 and the one in 1864. There are no birth registrations during the same period for anyone called Harry Tew anywhere in Leicestershire.
Although registration was not compulsory until 1874 and there could theoretically have been others born in that period who were not registered, the absence of any others on the censuses tends to suggest that the one in 1858 and the one in 1864 were genuinely the only two births with that name in the relevant area.

Hello
Here are two GENUKI links about Shoreditch and Islington, which are both in Middlesex and almost adjacent to each other ....
http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/MDX/Shoreditch/index.html
http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/MDX/Islington/index.html
There is a bit of historical stuff in the two links and at the bottom of each are links to modern day maps.
You can also find out more information by simply looking for the names on a search engine such as Google.
On the 1891 census there is an interesting entry ....
Islington RG12/146 Folio 106 Page 19
An Elizabeth Tew aged 23 from Leicestershire is a General Servant Domestic in the household of a Henry Freeman at 46 Hazelville Rd, Upper Holloway, Islington.
I wonder if this might be Henry’s sister who appears on the 1871 census as a four year old, with the family in Leire ? She is not with the family on the 1881 census because she is in Domestic Service in the household of a George H Johnson in Leire.
