Looking for marraige records (abt 1814) for Thomas Oliver and Margaret Fife who emigrated to Stark County, Illinois, USA, in 1837. Also, verification of birth dates for both would be appreciated.

Hi OliverT

How lucky are you to have this family so well annotated  Smiley

Have you seen this link http://turnbullclan.com/tca_genealogy/tca_all2-o/p438.htm#i53303 Some info there on parents for Thomas and Margaret. You would have to check how this information has been sourced.

Also this for background http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~historyconnection/Stark/Books/leeson/017.htm. Quite a lot on the family and their early years in the US.

Smiley I do feel fortunate to have the history so well documented. I really just started a formal search and documentation process. I retired a couple of years ago, got a new computer and off I went on this search. It has been a lot of fun.

Thanks again.
