Wondering if anyone can help
William came to NZ and married 1879
Full name appears to be WILLIAM FARMER GIBB
certificates have him being born about 1856 and he says Kilkaldy (spelt various ways)
Any idea on parents or whether he appears in any census
Anyone with this man in their family tree

I'm not good on Scottish research, so not having any idea on areas this has been an enormous breakthrough...looked in horror when I saw IGI's from all over and didn't know where??

ROBERT GIBB married Christian FARMER 1/1/1846 Kemback, Fife
(another IGI has 12/1/ at Kirkcaldy)
Children:
Robert b 29/1/1845, chr 11/5/1845
Grace Litster GIBB b 10/4/1853, chr 24/4/1853 Burntisland
William Farmer GIBB b 8/12/1855 Burntisland
Now there is a possible match for whole family coming to Auckland NZ on SHOOTING STAR: Mr & Mrs Gibb and Grace, Robert, Wiliam
Mr joined the AUCKLAND MECHANICS INSTITUTE 12/12/1859
Is there an 1851 census for this area that would show Robert , Christian and Robert junr?
