Hi -
I was wondering in anyone could help me find Daniel Gregory and family in the 1851/71/81/91 census at all? He has been spotted in the 1861 census as follows:
1861. Census returns for RG. 9. / 2439. / 64. / Page. 4.
Nottingham. Basford. George Street.
Daniel Gregory. Head. Mar. 29. Silk Glove Maker. b Leicester. Ann. Wife. 29. Silk Glove Maker’s Wife. b Leicester. Lucy. Daughter. 11. Silk Winder. b Basford. Anne. Dau. 10. Ditto. b Ditto. Henry. Son. 5. b Ditto. Emma. Dau. 1. b Ditto.
I don't currently have access to the census returns and wondered if some kind soul would help me out!
Thank you in advance for any help given.

Thank you for this, lizdb.
Don't know if you have any idea, but do you think that an apprenticeship will have been to become a lace maker?

Just one final thing ( ) -
do you mind looking in the 1851 census for him too? He might still be in Leicester - although their eldest daughter was born in Basford around 1850...
Thank you
