Hi, I am going cross eyed...
Please could someone kind hearted look for me.I have ancestry..but I cant find my Grandmother. Someone ages ago found her on GR ,I found other family members but not her.
Isabella Baldam born 1912 Durham .
Daughter of
George P Baldam and Catherine Mitchinson.

Are you sure it's 1912 and Durham?
I see the parents were married in Middlesbrough in 1898

Yes Barbara , I think many of the children born there,but then moved to Durham...My Mother says Durham anyway.
Isabella married in Durham 1934.
I tried 1910 give or take 2 years

She's not with George on the 1911 census (not in the index anyway), so unless she was with a relative she must have been born after that

I see Edith was born 1917 Sedgefield

Isabella must be somewhere between 1911 census and 1913 then, possibly Sedgefield also?

If some children were born in Middlesbrough and Edith in Sedgefield, what about contacting the two register offices and asking them to search?

I've just found this birth registration:

Sep 1913  Sedgefield    10a   404
BALDDAM    Charles    mother's maiden name Mitchinson   

She must have been born before him, so 1911/12 - maybe she's mistranscribed too.
