Hi Folks

This one is a long shot.

Has anyone researched Joseph COURT, born 1818 in Redditch?  In the 1861 census his "aunt" was living with him, Elizabeth HANDS born around 1774.  In 1851 she was listed as a lodger.  This would make Elizabeth 44 when Joseph was born.  So she could be one or two generations above him.  She was a widow, therefore she married a HANDS, which I don't think happened locally.  But I don't know if COURT was her maiden name, Elizabeth might be from Joseph's wife's, Mary A, side.

Can anyone give me some background to this relationship please?
