New A.V.G security Bar COMPLETED

The A.V.G. updates automatically at 12 lunch time. so is no problem,this morning i put the pewter on.went to connect to the net,got a message i couldn't do this while offline.On checking it wasn't ticked off line,i found it was Huh so un-ticked it.
Tried again this time i got a message saying i must close other programs or the update cannot download.Or something like that. It wasn't due for an update then,anyway it didn't wait for me, it closed some open windows for me.Next i got thank you for updating A.V.G the new A.V.G security bar for free edition Huh I didn't do anything to get that.I now have my normal windows bar +one that appeared when i went on B.T. and a A.V.G.one.
None of these are any good to me because they only search the net,Not  the  U.K. So i have to use the Jeeves one in my favorites which does.I have never had a normal search bar/address bar any .
Has anyone else had this bar downloaded without permission to do so.

You can get rid of them by clicking on View >> Toolbars and deselecting the ones you do not want.

I believe you can also uninstall the one you don't want in add/remove programs.

downside's suggestion may be better in this case.

I think you can download the toolbar if you want to,so it isn't included with the update.Thats what i couldn't understand,I think the download must been my doing.Because am sure the icons move sometime like on my O.E. when i pressed Send receive nothing happend Huh i later discovered i was deleting post because the envelope had moved along Roll Eyes The other day i got a Jeeves toolbar ::)but deleted it. The icons on the toolbars are so small maybe i haven't been hitting the bullseye.Anyway i have now un-ticked the AVG one as well and be more carefull where i put my arrow in future Grin I feel happier now i know my PC hasn't developed a mind of its own. Grin

If I want to click VIEW >> TOOLBARS where exactly is the VIEW that I should click?

I am using IE at the moment

The menubar at the top left side of the sceen:

File Edit View Favorites Tools Help.

Alternatively use the shortcut:
