I am very new to rootschat, and found thsi reference to George Cross in Kingston Bagpuize. I am sure George fits into the family I am searching. James born 1829 to George and Hannah was convicted of burning a stack of barley and transported to Western Australia. in 1852. He left behind a wife Mary Ann Cox/Fuller and a newborn son James. 1861 census shows him as a plowboy living with his uncle Charles Fuller at Charney If anyone has any further information on George Cross, or James Cross junior Born 1850 KB I would be grateful.

Hi Last info re James sen. I had was 1851 - in St Lawrence Prison Reading, I imagine you have that. The Charles Fuller mentioned is I assume, father of Alfred Fuller who married James' half sister Precilla in 1852 ?

Many thanks. Yes I have that information. I am wondering what happened to Mary Anne Cox/ Fuller and James (the baby) after James Snr was transported to Australia. He went on to marry again in Australia and If anyone is following this family I am happy to share information. Thanks again Ruth
