Hi my grand father is Charles Doherty (Tailor)and recently passed away, I was looking for some information regarding the family he was from Carndonagh and left when he was young,believe it was bridge street or church Rd where he lived, He left when he was young and met my Gran in Antrim where they left Ireland for England Looking for Work,He then moved to Scotland where he lived for the rest of his days with thoughts of Ireland, Before he died he developed alziemers disease where we had many recolections of his childhood past of Carn and his love of Church Rd and Bridge St. Any help would be great.

Sorry to here about your dad,have you looked at the 1911 Irish census yet .
It helped me after 3 years of looking for a needle in a haystack to finally track my lot down good luck , Little Annie
