I am unable to find Margaret Eliza Minett and her daughter Annie in the 1911 census, I have found her husband George and their 2 sons, they were on sailing barges. Can anyone help me please. They lived in Bedford rd Grays Thurrock Essex. Thank you

I can't find her on 1911 but there is a death that fits in as follows There is an Annie on 1911 aged 11 living Nth Witchford Cambs

Thank you very much for your reply, we know quite a bit about her, we have quite a comprehensive family tree on her, we just cannot find her in the 1911 census, we know that she had another daughter in 1914. We are wondering if she was in the Sufferer Jets movement, is there any way we can find out. Thank you very much it is indeed a wonderful service, we are most grateful to you.

There is a Margaret Minnett aged 43 and an Annie Minnett aged 10 living in Orsett, Essex on the 1911 census. As you may know these places are not far apart. You would need to buy credits to see the full entries.

Thank you very much for finding Margaret & Annie, This is really excellent service and we are most grateful, we spent hours trying to find them and tried all different things except put 2 Ns in Minett so we have learned something for future researching, Thank you so much.

in these situations, best to omit surname entirely - and put a '.' or similar punctuation mark in the Census Refn field
