Enabling cookies

I've just tried to use the free search on 1911 census on FMP. I can't get beyond the "please enable cookies" page. I followed the instructions for Internet Explorer 6.0+ (I've got 7)  and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong please?

In IE7 your cookie security level is set in:

Tools >> Internet Options >> Privacy

By default the vertical slider var is set to medium.

You may want to experiment for this particualr site and set it to low to see if it makes any difference.

With IE7 and IE8 you can also click on the Sites button, and create a list of sites that you will allow cookies from.

If your browser is set to accept cookies and you are still unable to access the site you may need to check your firewall program in case that too is blocking the cookie settings.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I had a message from FMP (in rather stilted English!) saying that the problem was my computer clock not being in the right time zone?HuhHuh

I've never heard that one used before ..... if it were true it would mean that you would have to reset your computer for every time zone you visited  Roll Eyes
