GEDCOM SOFTWARE

hi can anyone help me out? i am seeking a way to get some sort of software that will enable to to view a gedcom file on my pc. for example i can export a gedcom file from say genes reunited but it wont show up as readable.so trying to find ways to download any kind of software that will allow me to do this. can anyone help?

A GEDCOM file is a text file, so it can be viewed with any text editor like Notepad.  If you want to see it displayed in tree format, you could try the Personal Ancestry File viewer (PAF), which you can download from the LDS Family Search site
